Biography
Ana Ferriols (1997) is a researcher at the the Polytechnic University of Valencia. She has a predoctoral contract with the Spanish Ministry of Universities that she develops at the Centro de Investigación Arte y Entorno (CIAE). The topic of her research is the influence of Care Ethics in
the Mediterranean contemporary art scene. Her research field is focused on feminist theories and the influence of care labour in shaping gender differences. She has been a visiting researcher at the European University Institute (2022) in Florence and she is currently visiting researcher at Instituto de História da Arte (IHA) with an Erasmus grant. The purpose of this period is to research Portuguese art context in relation to Care Ethics. She is also a member of the art collective las mediocre.
