Biography
Elisabete Paiva is a programmer, curator and researcher in performing arts. She is curator of the 2025 edition of Fórum Atos, within the scope of the ATOS Programme/TNDMII, and a PhD student in Artistic Studies – Art and Mediation at FCSH Nova/Lisbon and IUAV/Venice. She regularly collaborates as a teacher and trainer with Forum Dança, the Lisbon Theatre and Film School, Acesso Cultura, the National Arts Plan and TNDM II. She was Artistic Director of Materiais Diversos, where she developed collaborative programming and curatorial practices, from the Materiais Diversos Festival to supporting artistic creation, audience development and network programming. She coordinated and programmed the Education Department of A Oficina, where she created and edited the newspaper LURA. She conceived and directed the Education Department of Guimarães 2012 European Capital of Culture. She collaborated with CENTA – Centre for the Study of New Artistic Trends.

Elisabete Paiva é programadora, curadora e investigadora em artes performativas. É curadora do Fórum Atos 2025, no âmbito do Programa ATOS/TNDM II e doutoranda em Estudos Artísticos – Arte e Mediações na FCSH Nova/ Lisboa e IUAV/ Veneza. Colabora regularmente, como professora e formadora, com o Forum Dança, a Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema de Lisboa, a Acesso Cultura, o Plano Nacional das Artes e o TNDM II. Foi Diretora Artística da Materiais Diversos, onde aprofundou práticas colaborativas de programação e curadoria, do Festival Materiais Diversos ao apoio à criação artística, passando pelo desenvolvimento de públicos e pela programação em rede. Coordenou e programou o Serviço Educativo d’A Oficina, onde criou e editou o jornal LURA. Concebeu e dirigiu o Serviço Educativo de Guimarães 2012 Capital Europeia da Cultura. Colaborou com o CENTA – Centro de Estudos de Novas Tendências Artísticas.
