Biography

Lola Visglerio Gómez is a predoctoral fellow at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain). Her doctoral research centers on identities and imaginaries in contemporary art in Andalucía between 1970 and 1992. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, a bachelor’s degree in History of Art (both from the Universidad de Sevilla) and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Reina Sofía Museum). She is member of the research project The publics of contemporary arts and visual culture in Spain. New forms of collective artistic experience since the 1960s (PID2019-105800GB-I00), directed by Noemi de Haro García and Patricia Mayayo Bost. Her areas of research include visual culture and the relationship between art and politics in contemporary Spain.
