Biography

Pedro Vaz has been organizing exhibitions and performances in Coimbra since 2014, alternating between the roles of artist and curator. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Artistic Studies at FLUC between 2013 and 2018, with his thesis focusing on the articulation between the Anozero Biennial and the urban project in Coimbra. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in Arts and Mediations at FCSH, NOVA University, and engages in independent curation through the Gambozino Collective, founded by him and Emanuela Boccia in 2023.

Pedro Vaz começou desde 2014, em Coimbra, a organizar exposições e performances, alternando entre a qualidade de artista e de curador.

Completou entre 2013 e 2018 a Licenciatura e Mestrado em Estudos Artísticos pela FLUC, cuja tese incidiu no estudo da articulação entre a Bienal Anozero e o projeto urbano de Coimbra.  Atualmente é doutorando em Artes e Mediações pela FCSH da Universidade NOVA, e faz curadoria independente pelo Coletivo Gambozino, fundado por ele e por Emanuela Boccia em 2023.
