Biography
Giulia Lamoni is Assistant Professor of Art History at the Faculdade de Letras, University of Coimbra, and an independent curator. She is an integrated researcher at the Institute of Art History (NOVA-FCSH), where she previously worked as a CEEC Principal Researcher. Her research focuses on the relationships between contemporary art and feminisms, contemporary artistic production and migration, the histories of contemporary art in Latin America through transnational perspectives, and the intersections between artistic practices and experimental art education. Her current research project explores the connections between imagination, contemporary artistic practices, art history writing, and curating.
