Leonor de Oliveira is an integrated researcher from the Institute of Art History, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (NOVA FCSH). She holds a Degree in Art History (2004) and a Master degree in Museology and Artistic Heritage in 2008, both granted by the NOVA FCSH. She has also concluded her PhD thesis at the FCSH, NOVA (2013). Leonor is now working on her Post-Doctoral research, which is supported by a scholarship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (since January 2014). Her project is based at the NOVA FCSH and at The Courtauld Institute of Art. She is the author of the monography published by Routledge and entitled “Portuguese Artists in London: Shaping Identities in Post- War Europe”. She has been publishing on Portuguese artistic migration to London, international exhibitions of Portuguese art and artistic creativity and political resistance. She has been involved in curatorial projects in Casa das Histórias Paula Rego since 2014.
